Costume 2 Queen of Hearts, —— Model Letitia Spratt; Designers Letitia Spratt, Shannon Hayes & Mary GibbonsThis Alice in Wonderland dress is made from heavy dustbin bags. The heavy plastic was shaped into fans and these were layered around to form the skirt. The bodice was also made from heavy duty plastic, with queen of heart card detail added down the front and repeated on the skirt. Detail was applied by edging with CD’s. The hat and bow were exaggerated for the “Mad Hatters Tea Party”. Other materials used: cardboard, wire and netting. Costume 3 Military Cyborg, —– Model Zak Kildea; Designers Zak Kildea, Ryan Spencer, Joe QuillThe concept behind this costume stems from the terminator and the military style uniform. Its base is an old tailored suit, cut and re-shaped. The military detail is added using yellow rope. The costume has rope detail and jacket (coat), trousers and hat. The robotic look was added using coloured electrical wire and circuit boards. The robotic mask was made from med roc and designed using cut circuit boards layered in a collage style.
