Glenfin playing with the wind in the first half started the best and were 3 points to 00 up after 10 minutes. Termon were awarded a free and a somewhat lucky kick ended up in the back of the Glenfin net to level the game. Glenfin replied with two quick points to put them back in the lead only for Gearldine McLaughlin to score another goal for Termon to put Termon one point up. In the last 10 minutes of the first half Glenfin scored 3 goals and a point the goals coming from Yvonne McMonagle and with Termon adding another goal to leave the half time score Glenfin 3.07 Termon 3.00. Glenfin started where they left off and two quick points from Yvonne McMonagle put Glenfin 9 points up. In the sixth minute of the second half Glenfin were awarded a penalty which Yvonne McMonagle converted to put 12 points between the sides, this proved to be Glenfin’s last score and with some superb defending against a very strong wind held Termon to just six points in the last 20 minutes of the second half to leave the full time score Glenfin 4-09 Termon 3-06. This was a great team effort but special mention has to go to the player of the match Yvonne McMonagle who scored 4. 06 with Karen Guthrie getting the other 3 points.                                  Glenfin Team.
