HOME buyers looking to bag a property bargain should start their search in Westcourt, Manunda or Earlville, with vendors more likely to come to the bargaining table in the western Cairns suburbs. The data from Core Logic showed median vendor discounts over the past 12 months were 10 per cent in Westcourt, 9 per cent in Manunda and 8.4 per cent in Earlville.At the other end of the market, attempts to strike a better deal in Wonga Beach near Port Douglas, Edge Hill and Cairns North will likely fall flat with median discounts coming in at 2, 2.8 and 3.1 per cent respectively.
