Appeal for information about Dublin pub shooting

first_imgA POST-MORTEM exam is due to take place today on the body of a man shot dead at a Dublin pub last night.The man, who has been named as 25-year-old Paul Cullen, was killed at The Cabra House on Faussagh Avenue at 7.10pm yesterday. It is understood the victim was known to gardaí and had previous convictions of assault, drugs offences and an attack on gardaí.RTÉ Radio One reported that he knew his life was under threat.Following the shooting, emergency services attended and performed CPR on the man but he was pronounced dead at the scene. He was shot several times.Two men in dark clothing were seen leaving the scene on a motorbike.The scene continues to be preserved, a garda spokesperson told TheJournal.ie.Investigating Gardaí have asked witnesses to come forward with information.
